SRIXON ZX HYBRID 

When golf hybrids were initially released, they were quickly adopted by thousands of mid to high handicap golfers who soon realised that they were easier to hit than any other club. As their designs have improved, they have also become firm favourites in the golf bags of many tour pros with their high launching capabilities, and ease of use from difficult lies offering something simply not achievable with irons.  

The main drawback for better players using a hybrid has always the been the look at address. Most are designed with the average golfer in mind and often look slightly closed at address which will often not suit the better players’ eye. The Srixon ZX Hybrid has been designed to look and perform well for all levels of golfer and features a square toe and a straight face angle, which will prove to be more appealing to the lower handicappers and reduce the fear of the ball going left. 

The head is relatively compact for a modern hybrid but the smaller profile does not come at the expense of being easy to use. Featuring the same Rebound Frame that is also in the new ZX driver and fairway wood range the Srixon ZX hybrid is extremely forgiving. The Rebound Frame is a second flex point in the head and helps transfer all possible energy into the golf ball, regardless of where it has been struck. 

The crown has a stepped design which has allowed Srixon to lower the CG placement and ensures the ZX hybrid produces optimal launch. They have also been able to redistribute the saved weight into the perimeter of the head creating a higher M.O.I and maximum forgiveness. 

The Srixon ZX hybrid is available in three different lofts with the strongest being 16-degrees which is an extremely good option for use as a teeing off club where both distance and accuracy are required. The other two lofts available are 19-degrees and 22-degrees.
