Often when selecting which fairway wood to buy a golfer has to decide if it is mainly to be used from the tee or from the fairway, especially with 3-woods. Some fairway woods are simply more suited to be used off a tee and most players would find those hard to hit off the ground. Conversely the shallower headed woods perform superbly off the ground but are trickier to use off a tee. With the release of the Srixon ZX fairway woods, Srixon have produced a club that is great performer from both. 

Nowadays, most fairway woods have clubfaces that flex on impact with the ball and act as a sort of trampoline, increasing ball speeds and maximising distance. Srixon have taken this approach a stage further and so the ZX fairway woods feature their new Rebound Frame technology which is essentially a second flex point in the head. This maximises energy transference into the golf ball and produces incredible ball speeds especially on centre face contacts. 

There is also new Canon Sole technology found on the Srixon ZX fairway wood which sees a forward leaning weight pad working in conjunction with a flexible sole to optimise launch and further increase ball speeds. A lightweight crown has been used enabling Srixon to push the mass low and with it the CG placement. This increases the M.O.I. of the club and makes it incredibly forgiving. Much like on the new ZX hybrid the fairway woods feature a stepped crown design which has allowed weight to be moved to the perimeter of the club and further increases the resistance to twisting. 

The Srixon ZX fairway woods are available in four different lofts, 13.5-degree, 15-degree 18-degrees & 21 degrees and all come fitted with the superb Project-X Hazrdus Smoke Black shaft as standard. Custom options are also available.
