CALLAWAY BIG BERTHA B21 IRONS 

The Big Bertha name has become synonymous with ease of use and extremely high levels of performance and, with the release of the Callaway Big Bertha B21, Callaway looks to continue this tradition. The B21 is a club that falls into the super game improvement category and is aimed at golfers with slower swing speeds who may need a little help in launching the ball. The Big Bertha B21 set of irons is the first ever Big Bertha to ever be designed using artificial intelligence and promises the user incredible ball speeds and long, straight shots. The A.I. designed Flash Face Cup has already been used in Callaway’s superb Mavrik range of irons and now it is placed into the Big Bertha as well. This technology causes the face to flex at impact and creates excellent ball speeds all across the club face. 

Behind the ball the B21 has a generous amount of offset which will be extremely beneficial to golfers who tend to get too much fade or slice spin on the ball. It also has a thick topline and a reasonably large profile which inspires confidence when behind the ball at address. The bottom of the club features a wide sole design to increase the margin of error when striking the ground before the ball.  

Tungsten weights are deployed differently in each iron head allowing Callaway to optimise the CG for the perfect high launch. With the easy launch capabilities of the Callaway Big Bertha B21 irons, they have been able to reduce the spin on the ball allowing for towering iron shots that will land softly on the green. Callaway’s patented urethane microspheres are found inside the heads of the B21 irons and do a superb job of absorbing vibrations from impact. Not only does this produce superb feel when striking the ball but it can also be beneficial to any golfers with joint pain.
